GENERAL REMINDERS:
«All GSSL players must have a valid GSSL card and wear shin guards
«Referees are instructed to check cards of individual players. Please notify the office if a referee fails to check cards so we can correct the situation immediately.
«All teams are required to have matching shirts with numbers that match with the number listed on the game roster.
«In case of a color conflict, the home team (listed 1st on the schedule) must change. Please note that the manager’s list indicates team colors.
« Game rosters must be filled out legibly with player’s first & last name as well as the corresponding jersey number. Game rosters can be downloaded from the GSSL website by going to the following link: http://www.gssl.org/GSSLGAMEROSTER.doc
« Division Placement: teams have been arranged based on past performance and upon the number of new and returning teams. With the larger number of teams per division in the fall, there is a general shift downwards.
«Unfavorable Game Situations: in the case of a field conflict, youth always have precedence on the fields. If another adult user group is on the field, generally a coin toss determines who will have the field. Please be patient if this situation arises & allow an alternative planning date as there is really no other solution.
Referee no-shows are rare, but in the event you have one – please try to play the game. It is difficult to reschedule matches (especially on good fields) to accommodate teams and players.
«Open & Over-30 team managers: please remember to contact the office with your goal scorers and keeper shut outs!
